Project Overview
Trisomet Composite Roof Replacement — GB Couriers Warehouse, Luton
Exall Group have completed a full asbestos cement roof removal and replacement at GB Couriers' dispatch warehouse in Luton, Bedfordshire, covering approximately 620m².
The existing asbestos cement panels were carefully stripped and removed in full compliance with HSE regulations and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, with all waste disposed of by licensed carriers and full documentation provided on completion.
In place of the asbestos roof, Exall Group installed a new 80mm Trisomet composite cladding system - a high-performance insulated roof panel offering exceptional thermal efficiency, structural strength and a clean, modern finish ideally suited to operational warehouse environments. The Trisomet system has significantly improved the building's thermal performance, reducing heating costs and improving working conditions within the dispatch facility.
Factory assembled rooflights were integrated directly into the new roof system, providing natural daylight throughout the warehouse and reducing reliance on internal electrical lighting during operational hours. New Trimline guttering was also installed to complete the weatherproofing envelope, ensuring efficient rainwater management across the full roof area.
All works were delivered with a 20-year guarantee, giving GB Couriers the long-term assurance required for a critical operational facility. The project was completed on programme in April 2026.
