Kalzip Approved
Kalzip is the benchmark for high-performance aluminium standing seam roofing. Lightweight, non-combustible, and fully recyclable, it's specified on some of the most demanding commercial, industrial and public sector projects in the UK — and getting it right requires factory-trained installation from an approved contractor.

We've delivered Kalzip standing seam systems on projects ranging from industrial units to education facilities, working directly with architects, main contractors and estates teams who need the system installed to manufacturer specification — because that's what the warranty depends on.

Every project is supported with full documentation, warranty registration and post-installation sign-off. Process
We visit site to assess the existing structure, loadings and drainage falls. For new builds, we work from drawings. We confirm the right Kalzip profile, colour, and fixing method before anything is ordered.
Kalzip systems require precise detailing at eaves, ridges, abutments and rooflights. We produce or review the technical drawings and agree the programme with your principal contractor or estates team.
Our factory-trained operatives install the system to Kalzip's technical specification. We don't subcontract Kalzip installs — the team on your roof are our own.
On completion, we carry out a full inspection, produce a completion report and register the warranty with Kalzip directly. You receive manufacturer-backed documentation from day one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Kalzip approved installers are contractors who have been factory-trained and assessed by Kalzip to install their aluminium standing seam systems. Only approved installers can offer the full Kalzip manufacturer warranty. Exall Group hold approved installer status and operate across London and the South East.
Qualifying Kalzip installations come with a 25-year manufacturer warranty on the system. This is only valid when the roof is installed by an approved contractor to Kalzip's technical specification — which is why installer approval matters.
Kalzip is specified across commercial, industrial, education, leisure and healthcare buildings. It's particularly well suited to large-span roofs where lightweight, non-combustible performance is required — including projects with Building Regulations compliance requirements under Approved Document B.
In many cases yes. Kalzip standing seam systems can be installed over existing metal or built-up felt roofing using a support rail system, which avoids the cost and disruption of a full strip. We carry out a structural assessment as part of our survey to confirm whether an over-roofing approach is viable.
Kalzip produce solar-ready profiles specifically designed for PV integration without penetrating the roof membrane. We can advise on solar-compatible specification during the design stage.
Programme depends on roof area and complexity. A straightforward industrial unit of 1,000–2,000m² typically takes 4 - 6 weeks. We provide a detailed programme at tender stage.
